Ivy is a graduate of St. Amant High School in St. Amant, Louisiana. She graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and a minor in Business Administration. Ivy obtained her Juris Doctorate degree from Southern University Law Center. Ivy is actively involved in the community. She is a past president and current member of the Rotary Club of Livingston Parish as well as past president and current member of the 21st JDC Bar Association. She is a current member of the Florida Parishes Inns of Court, Baton Rouge Association of Women Attorneys, and Louisiana State Bar Association. She serves on the board for TARC as well as Livingston Parish Library.
